Treatments
What is a medical pedicure?
A medical pedicure is a hygienic, results-driven foot treatment performed with sterile, single-use tools. It addresses real foot-health concerns — fungal nails, ingrown nails, calluses, cracked heels and thick skin — rather than just cosmetics.
Can you treat nail fungus?
Yes. We offer antifungal pedicure and comprehensive fungal treatment programs. Fungal infections often need several sessions plus home care for the best long-term result.
Does treatment for ingrown nails hurt?
Our nail correction and brace techniques are gentle and non-surgical. Most clients feel relief rather than pain, and we work carefully to keep you comfortable.
Is a medical pedicure safe for diabetics?
Careful, sterile foot care is especially important for people with diabetes. We take extra precautions; if you have diabetes or circulation issues, please tell us when booking so we can tailor your visit and advise if a physician referral is needed.
What's the difference between a regular and a medical pedicure?
A regular pedicure is mostly cosmetic and focuses on appearance. A medical pedicure is performed with sterile, single-use tools and targets foot-health problems such as fungus, ingrown nails, calluses and cracked heels — usually with no soaking required and a strong focus on hygiene and lasting results.
Do you treat corns, calluses and cracked heels?
Yes. We professionally remove corns, calluses and hyperkeratosis and repair cracked heels, then advise on home care to keep the skin soft and healthy between visits.
How many sessions will I need for nail fungus?
It depends on severity. Mild cases may improve in a few sessions, while advanced fungal infections often need several months of treatment plus consistent home care — because the nail has to grow out healthy. We give you a realistic plan at your first visit.
Hygiene & safety
Is the equipment sterile?
Yes. We use hospital-grade sterilization and single-use disposable tools for every client, with no exceptions.
How long does an appointment take?
Most treatments take 30 to 90 minutes depending on the service. A consultation is about 30 minutes; antifungal and comprehensive treatments can take 90 to 120 minutes.
Before & after your visit
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Just come with clean, dry feet and comfortable open footwear if possible. If you take blood thinners, have diabetes, or are being treated for any foot condition, let us know in advance. Please remove nail polish before a medical or antifungal treatment if you can.
Can I wear nail polish to my appointment?
For a cosmetic visit it's fine. For medical, antifungal or diagnostic treatments we need bare nails so the specialist can assess and treat them properly — please remove polish beforehand, or let us remove it for you.
What aftercare do you recommend?
It depends on your treatment, but usually includes keeping feet clean and dry, moisturising regularly, wearing breathable footwear, and following any antifungal or correction routine we give you. You'll get simple, specific instructions before you leave.
How often should I get a medical pedicure?
For general maintenance, every 4 to 8 weeks works well for most people. If you're being treated for fungus, ingrown nails or another active condition, we'll recommend a schedule based on your progress.
