Before & After: Real Results From Our Troy Studio

Real clients, photographed before and after their appointment with Yulia. Core corns, heel calluses, cracked heels, thick, crumbling and discolored toenails, toenail braces and full medical pedicures — all done with waterless podology e-files, no blades and no soaking.

Award-winning work. Yulia took 4 first places and 4 second places in Podology at the GABI USA International Championship 2026 “Liberty of Creativity” in New York.

Overgrown, thick yellow toenails

Before: Long, overgrown nails on every toe — thick, yellow and curling over the tips, too hard to cut at home.

What we did: Length and thickness reduced on each nail with a podology e-file, edges shaped and the dry skin around the nails cleaned up. No blades, no soaking.

After

Core corns on the ball of the foot

Before: Three hard, yellowish corns in a row on the ball of the foot, each with a dense core that pressed in with every step.

What we did: The callus cap and each core lifted out with fine podology e-file bits — no blades, no acids. Only small, clean pits remain where the cores were.

Crumbling big toenail

Before: A yellow, thickened big toenail breaking up at the free edge, with crumbling layers and dry skin around it.

What we did: Crumbling, detached nail removed gently with an e-file down to the healthy layer; nail folds and surrounding skin cleaned.

Thick yellow callus on the heel

Before: A thick, yellow layer of hard skin across the heel, rough and flaking at the surface.

What we did: The hard layer reduced evenly with a podology e-file down to smooth, natural skin — dry technique, no soaking, no razor.

After: a thick, yellow, ridged big toenail with a lifting edge — after a visit to MediPedi in Troy, MI
After

Yellow, ridged big toenail

Before: A thickened, yellow-grey big toenail with deep ridges, lifting layers and debris under the free edge.

What we did: Thick and lifted layers reduced, debris cleaned out and the nail folds tidied, so the nail is thin, short and clean again.

Before: a dry heel with layered, open fissures
Before
After: a dry heel with layered, open fissures — after a visit to MediPedi in Troy, MI
After

Dry heel with open fissures

Before: Dry, layered skin on the heel with fissures opening along the edge.

What we did: The hard rims around the cracks and the dry layers smoothed away with e-file bits, leaving an even, soft heel.

After: a thick, yellow-brown big toenail with ridges and a rough free edge — after a visit to MediPedi in Troy, MI
After

Thick, discolored big toenail

Before: A thickened big toenail with yellow-brown discoloration, deep ridges and a rough, crumbling free edge.

What we did: Thickened, discolored layers gently reduced with an e-file, the nail reshaped and its surface smoothed so it lies flat and looks clean again.

Full medical pedicure

Before: Neglected nails and rough, dry skin that needed a complete reset.

What we did: A full waterless medical pedicure: nails shortened and shaped, cuticles and nail folds cleaned, hard skin smoothed with sterile e-file bits.

After: dry, cracked heels — after a visit to MediPedi in Troy, MI

Dry, cracked heels

Before: Dry, thickened skin on the heels with cracks along the edge.

What we did: Hard skin and the edges of the cracks smoothed down with e-file bits instead of razors, leaving the heel even and soft.

Questions about results

Are these real clients?

Yes. Each pair shows the same client before and after their appointment with Yulia at our Troy studio, published with the client’s permission. We only show feet.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on where you start. Length, thickness and calluses are usually reduced at the first appointment. Discoloration takes longer: a big toenail replaces itself in roughly 9–12 months, so color improves gradually as the new nail grows in. Yulia will tell you what to expect at the first visit.

How much does it cost?

A consultation is $50, cracked heel care is $70–150, the full medical pedicure (Healthy Nails Care) is $150–200 and fungal-looking or thickened nail care is $130–350, depending on how many nails need work. New clients get 10% off the first visit.

Is this medical treatment?

No. MediPedi is a cosmetic foot care and podology studio: we reduce, reshape and smooth nails and skin. We do not diagnose or treat infections. If something hurts, is red and swollen, or is not healing, please see a podiatrist or physician first.
